Red Cliffs Tack was founded by two lifelong horsemen with decades of saddle time and an unwavering commitment to quality western tack. Both understand what riders need because they've lived it.

Our Story

Our founders bring combined decades of equestrian expertise, including years managing premium gear distribution across North America. They grew up learning the craft of tack-making from the ground up. Together, they started Red Cliffs Tack in Temecula, California in 1992, building and testing every piece on their own horses across their ranch.

Those early years shaped our foundation—trail riding through California's landscape taught us what gear truly needs to withstand. In the 2000s, we relocated to St. George, Utah, where the red rock landscape and open range continue to inspire our work. Today, we carry that same hands-on philosophy: every headstall, rein, and breast collar is chosen and crafted with the precision that only comes from real experience in the saddle.
